Marcelino Custom Finishes, Inc. came to life in New York City in 1996, before moving to San Diego, CA in 1998.  While we began refinishing smaller, single pieces of furniture, our model quickly grew to scale as we transformed entire homes, estates, and larger commercial projects with our artistic finishes on ceilings, walls, fireplaces, as well as woodwork finishes.

Over the past almost 25 years, MCF and its crew of talented craftsman and artists have delivered superb finishes to many architectural surfaces, including creating realistic decorative paintings, superb Trompe L’Oeil (“trick-the-eye” shading), woodgraining, marbling, murals, elegant Venetian plasters, one-of-a-kind plaster finishes, gold/silver leaf applications, and unique commissioned artwork.

Our clients homes and businesses have spanned internationally from Brazil, New York, Nevada, and California.

We are honored to regularly team-up with well-established builders, business owners, architects, and interior designers.

We do not do it all, but we are exceptional at what we do.

The founder Marcelino DaSilva established MCF, Inc. in New York, in 1996 and moved to San Diego, CA in 1998.  Marcelino studied at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, and obtained an interior design degree at Mesa College, in San Diego.
